  • When problems arise within the workplace that require more than telephone advice, the Employment Team can provide you with correspondence to deal with a variety of Employment issues.
  • A free monthly Employment update newsletter (“Lighthouse”), which will keep you informed of all the latest developments in the area of Employment Law.
  • Free access for up to 2 attendees at our series of regular Employment Law seminars
  • Bespoke training on specific Employment Law issues can be provided at a location of your choice at greatly reduced rates.
  • The package can also be complimented by Legal Expenses Insurance, which means that (in the majority of cases) where the advice of the Employment Team has been followed your business will be protected against the cost of defending expensive Employment Tribunal litigation and most awards of up to £100,000 per claim (£1,000,000 in aggregate in any one year). The insurance is very comprehensive and not only covers employment tribunal awards but also the following:
    • Tax Protection – investigations by HMRC into your business’s tax affairs will be covered as well as appeals relating to Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE, Social Security and National Insurance Contributions following an assessment. Investigations into the personal tax affairs of directors and/or partners are also covered.
    • Property Protection – the policy will also extend to cover the costs of taking action against a third party for nuisance, trespass or damage to your property.
    • Compliance and Regulation – the policy will also cover your business in the event of criminal charges brought by the police, the Health & Safety Executive, local authorities and other bodies with the power to prosecute. Representation will also be provided for a formal civil investigation or disciplinary hearing brought by any trade association, professional or regulatory body to which the company belongs.
    • Statutory Licence - If your business depends on a statutory licence which is subsequently refused, suspended or revoked by the issuing authority, the cover also includes appropriate representation for any related hearing.
