Anthony deals with commercial property in general and, in particular:-

• Acquisitions and disposals
• The grant of leases for both landlords and tenants
• The acquisition and disposal of ground rents.

He has a particular expertise in acting for developers of commercial and residential properties in connection with site acquisitions, unit or plot sales and the disposal of ground rents reserved when selling such units or plots. Anthony has recently been heavily involved in schemes for the avoidance of Stamp Duty Land Tax, which can be applied to both commercial and residential property. Anybody interested in such schemes would be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before details can be provided. He has worked on a number of key deals and, in particular, has acted for various luxury goods retailers, including Max Mara, for whom he handled the acquisition of their flagship store in Old Bond Street, and Thomas Sabo, all of whose UK acquisitions are handled by him.
